THE NERVE ON HER...

My name is maria,
And all my life, I've been told I was impertinent or arrogant, that I talked too much and was impulsive, that I had too much nerve.
For a long time, I lived under an enormous pressure to be polite, humble, or quiet. I came to believe that my opinion didn't matter and wasn't worth hearing: how could that be, if I was always told not to share it?
It was by considering and embracing these parts of myself, which are now my favourites, that I realized I was curious, intelligent, cheerful, and extroverted, perhaps a bit manipulative. I love research, analysis, and interpretation: my brain creates narratives and ideas as quickly as the information comes in. I discovered that I love a good challenge.
And after years of good challenges (you can find some here), somehow, I landed in marketing and copywriting - if you read the previous paragraph again it might seemed so obvious that I would definitely end up here (or be a politician).
And here I am, ready to hear you, ready to follow you and guide you to your most crazy ass idea.

irreverence
I don't just have the nerve to ask a stranger for a cell phone to call someone.
Let's talk about the things no one talks about, in the most absurd way possible.
autenticity
If I'm not authentic, if I'm not myself, how can I find my voice?
It's by recognizing our essence that we can communicate in the best way.
curiosity
Always be curious:
Reject nothing, Accept nothing. Contemplate.
joy
Let's have some fun?
Otherwise, what's the point of turning this patriarchal capitalist society upside down?
